Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco - an Canadian and American artist and singer. Her catalog includes more than 20 albums. The music of DiFranco is classified as folk and alternative rock, but it also has hints of jazz and hip-hop. Ani diFranco was the first artist to launch her own record company in 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco. They met in their school, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father has Italian heritage. Ani diFranco composed and sang the song 32 Flavors. It is a track from her album from 1995 Not a Pretty Girl, which was her sixth studio album.
