Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, performer and actor well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she began her career as an actress on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater scene with Li'l Abner's in the year 1957. Her first album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise was first seen as a performer in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda, a character in the film. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships to Lee Strasberg. She signed on with CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as contrast to her image of a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1, she played Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she also became a well-known director for popular TV series like Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 27th August, 1965. Her family moved to Toronto around the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there and her adolescence. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living there since then.
